Is cricket wireless a scam? They clearly deceive with the intent to take your money and give you NOTHING in return except liars, rude.

Then to top off the subpar service, they โ€œcustomer serviceโ€ phone and Store staff NEVER provide any resolution whatsoever, ALWAYS say itโ€™s not THEIR job to even TRY to fix any of the many problems, lie and say they donโ€™t have any call records stating that we call EVERY SINGLE MONTH for 10+ HOURS EVERY MONTH because they still have not gotten our service to work on 2 of our 4 phones but they charge full price even though they never gave us a phone and never provided even 1 minute of cell service for those 2 lines yet they charged us full price for 7 months. Then when we tried to switch to a different service provider after having paid them HUNDREDS for 2 lines that, ever month, they refused to stop charging us and also kept lying and scamming us with promises that NEXT month they would finally get us 2 working lines but they never did. Then when we switched back to our previous provider for our 4 lines, they refused to allow us to Port our Phone numbers unless we paid them ANOTHER $80 plus also $30 in reactivation fees because after we switched back to our original companies they rejected our request for our numbers back and then canceled our lines. They also refused to refund even a dime of the $280 per line (total almost $600) for the 2 lines that they NEVER got working even for 1 minute.

Unbelievable con artists who lie, cheat and steal. The Store even lied about what language they were speaking and the phone staff give fake American-sounding names and refuse to tell us where they are or who they are. And NOT ONCE have any of them provided any help at all or any resolution. We waste HOURS on the phone and Store who every month and they always say their computer will not let them issue any credits for never providing any service and that helping and resolving problems and lack of service is against their policies and they are not allowed to actually provide any help or serviceโ€”just DEMAND Payment for the month โ€œor else...โ€ they will give away our 4 phone number weโ€™ve had forever and we had ported to their company.

They hold our phone beloved numbers we have had forever like a hostage and demand we pay in full for the new month rather than provide any resolution on their never getting our service working for over 6 months and their also refusing to release our numbers to a new carrier. Once they get you and your phone numbers ported into Cricket, they OWN your wallet and they say โ€œtough luck and pay in full for next month if you want to keep your original phone numbersโ€ (with a Philippine accent). None of their Phone staff and almost none of their store staff seem to understand enough ENGLISH even though we are calling Cricket from an ENGLISH-speaking country so you would think theyโ€™d route it to an ENGLISH-speaking if not a North American call center? No doubt about it.

This company is a scam. They promise one thing before you can port your numbers in then once they have you, they could care less about providing any of what they originally promised and seem intent on passive-aggressively sabotaging you in any way they can, using your phone numbers to keep you pre-paying for NOTHING every month. Absolutely, but what they say is not what you get. Nothing they "promise" you verbally ever gets provided.

They ridicule, taunt and make put-down and abusively name-call customers who are pleading to speak with someone who is willing to help. They just say, there is NO ability to escalate and no ability to get what we pay for. Once they get your signature and your money, they forget about you and move on to the next sucker. When we accepted the preview offer of three nights at a BG resort, we were told that we would be staying at the resort they showed us online.

Just before we were to arrive, they contacted us to say that we would actually be staying at a different place, a 4th rate dive. When I said we would cancel or delay unless they deliver our promised phone service, they threatened to give away the phone number we ported in to them and they reject all other providersโ€™ attempts to port our numbers away from Cricketโ€”forcing us to keep paying them full price for NO SERVICE and NO PHONES. The lies and deception and abusive, disrespectful communication and language barrier issues and a culture of scammers, liars and con artists and hiding the truth. My impression is that they are all about a glossy marketing and sales pitch to lure you in.

Once they hook you in and get you to port your phone numbers in, they use your numbers as hostage to maximize profits by training their staff to just waste hours on the phone each month in the hopes that you just give up and pay another month at full price even though they have never given you NO service and NO phones. We brought in our own UNLOCKED, relatively new, fully functioning and fully paid off 3 iPhone 7 pluses and 1 top-of-the-line LG that work fine on other providers and Cricket lied and promised they would work fine on their cricket service but they never got them working whatsoever and then gave a tiny, USED, defective, old-fashioned cheap free phone that was in no way similar in features or functions and they said to just โ€œthrow It awayโ€ because they were just activating the SIM that was in it because it was the same size SIM as the LG. But later they said that even though they never got I working and even though they said we wouldnโ€™t have to use that outdated, USED phone (which they called a โ€œthrowaway that they refused the SIM on) but then later they tried to say that 1 re-cycled SIM that they never got working In any phone was the justification for why they charged us full-price for 4 phones for 7 months. they never got any of our phones working and never offered us an alternative but still refuse to let us leave cricket (with our phone numbers).

instead they bully customer in submitting to keep Paying for nothing and holding their phone number hostage to ensure it. It is obvious that the more Cricket staff โ€œtake in" without providing anything in return, the more bonuses they get. they clearly are 0 interest in Serving their customers. But they seem to be Master manipulators, con artists, liars, thieves, incompetent, โ€œnot my jobโ€, providing any kind of customer service is always โ€œagainst cricket policyโ€, taunting, bullying and forcing you to continue to pay them full price for NOTHING ...month after month...

so far for 7 months,. And they still wonโ€™t release the phone numbers we have had forever back to us. Clearly their staff must be incentedโ€”not to serve and help their customersโ€”but instead to solely to lie, cheat, manipulate (using hostage tactics) and steal to maximize cricket profits and their and their own bonusesโ€”all at YOUR and YOUR familyโ€™s expense, torment and demise. They donโ€™t care that they are putting your children at safety risk when they wonโ€™t let you communicate with your children and wonโ€™t let you leave their company either so your kids canโ€™t even call for a ride or help if they are ever in danger.

Like robots, instead of trying to get any of your phone to work, they just demand the next month of Payment or else... Do NOT trust any Cricket Phone staff or even Store staff because almost ALL of them lie and scam and NEVER help in any way except for collect money for Cricket with no regard for customer service and no regard for integrity and no regard for truth. Do NOT believe anything they tell you, do NOT throw your money at Cricket.

You and your family would be better off if you dropped it into a bottomless sinkhole with no ability to call anyone with even the slightest ability to help you in any way whatsoever except so say โ€œpre-pay or else...you will never speak to anyone who knows your number and you will never see your numbers again. In total, we have paid them over $600 and not received even 1 minute of service and they never gave us any phones either but they refuse to let us port our numbers back to our previous company or any other company either.

You ported your number and they will rightfully charge you a reactivation fee and the monthly service because that's how it works. Every prepaid cell phone company works this way.

You have no sympathy from me. Do me a favor and go kick rocks.
