I bought a Nokia Lumia with the $50 plan and the wi-fi hot spot for $10 a month extra. The hot spot does not work and I've spent 3 days now running around, talking to customer service, etc. All they can say is that I just have to do it over again however long it takes, and their not responsible. They wont refund or credit the money I paid for the service I am not receiving. I guarantee that at the end of this month I will find a service provider that will provide what I pay for.

Do not believe Cricket

We had been a customer of Cricket for around 3 years. It took several tries to find a phone that would work as my mom is legally deaf. She wears hearing aides that don't always work with the "hearing aide compatible" cell phones. When Cricket decided to upgrade to the new 4G service they sent a letter stating my mom could trade her phone in for a newer phone and they would credit her some money toward a new phone. Cricket sent us to every store within a 45 mile radius with letter in hand and no one including Cricket Stores would honor their own letter. After going around with them for about 2 months I dropped them and went to another service provider. They never did make good on the offer.

Incredibly poor customer service

I've stuck with them for more than 5 years in spite of the lousey customer service. Today my service was suspended after discovering that my billing date magically changed, and that my autopay was not carried over after doing the REQUIRED phone upgrade. The store associate who upgraded my phone explained my new rate, and my auto pay were carried over. Today after FIVE PHONE CALLS to this company, nothing is resolved even after giving them my credit card TWICE to get my service back on! Each time they assured me it would and at this moment my service remains suspended.The incompetency seems to be rampant and without cure. It's time for me to move on.

Malware, virus on Using Google Store, and Google Chrome on Cricket wireless phone

Crickets technical support is horrid. After being force to upgrade my cellphone, hackers are trying to access my personal information with Google and Google chrome pre-installed app on the cellphone.

The Google Chrome distributes malware, spyware, viruses through the Google store. After trying to resolve this issue, I am disconnected by the technician when they are usable to resolve the issue. I was tole to call Google to resolve the issue, the number given by the technician was to Microsoft. Cricket wireless is violating federal law by infecting cellphones with malware, spyware, viruses illegal criminal activity bots.

WTF! Not today ***

Cricket employees are cyber criminal. On 11-5-2015 the manager of the store installed malware, adware and viruses on my cellphone.

I am so sick of cyber criminals trying to be slick. I hate All of these cellphone companies who hire cyber criminals.

Rude Customer Service.... False Advertisement....Switched carriers(worst mistake) thinking service was going to be a bit more reliable, but it didn't turn out that way. I paid for the PRO plan $60 for two lines. I asked the sales rep @ the store to double tripe check that i was going to receive 4GLTE,they said YES. And of course they lied i had 4G/E service and calls would drop every 5-10 mins. **Service and customer service was HORRIBLE extremely RUDE so i went back with my old carrier. I asked for my money back and they said they couldn't refunded my $$... So basically I paid for service i NEVER received. Terrible Cell Phone provider ... Please dont waste your time or MONEY with Cricket Wireless.

Horrible Customer Service

I called in to cricket today regarding exchanging or returning a new phone I purchased a couple of days ago and just received in the mail today. When I contacted the customer service department I let the representative know that I wanted to refund my purchase. The agent asked me several times for the IMEI number and ICCID number which I thought was odd since this was a return. Long story short, after 20 mins on the phone she tells me that my phone has been activated.. I let her know that is not what I called for. My call was then disconnected and so I tried to call customer care back, however, my old phone would not work because she had deactivated my old sim card. I called back from my sons phone and was immediately hung up on. I asked to speak with a supervisor who pretty much just transferred me to the correct department without apologizing for the inconvenience that I had just experience. I am so disappointed with Cricket. My family and friends have gotten this service from my recommendations. I'm considering cancelling my service.

Five members of my family have services with you, one of us is already has the services, two swatch last month, two opened new lines, so when you swatch with Cricket you get new phone based on the sign in your store, Now the story is, Your representative did not give us a new phones, and he said, if you did not get a new phones, we will reduce the bills $25 less, We did not get new phones and the bills not reduced. I talked to your representative locally at 419-665-**** and the manger at 419-665-****, the manger said if you did not get it in the same day of services or you are using your own phone you can not get it any more which make no sens to me based on the sign on your store (no thing in the sign about own phone or the same day). The question what we should do at this point?

We switched to Cricket last April 2015. I wish I never had. We have 4 accounts and within 1 week the service went down and now for 3 months we have NO SERVICE when in this area. So many complaints and tickets and they lie. Some represents agree there is a dead area and other agree the tower within 300 years is Cricket's but need repair. They keep closing the tickets saying it is resolution-ed but NOT TRUE. Every time I call I have to start again and if I ask for a supervisor they leave me on hold for 30 minutes or hang up. Even on chat I had to start over again and she disconnected when I proved her wrong. No service leaves us unsafely and caused promises for my company.

I live in Hutchinson, KS and the state fair is in town. While at the state fair, at the the cricket wireless booth, one of you employees by the name of Essence was working the booth on a Saturday cussing and making fun of others walking by with it seemed like her friends were with her. This was not a good look on your company or employee status and I would not want to be associate with a business when I see employees acting out in that way. If I were in the position I would like to be notified about this myself.

I've been a Cricket Customer nearly a year phone service is okay however somea****** stole my phone I went to go purchase a new phone they no longer carry the Moto G the representative lied to me and said the Moto e was the same phone or better had everything the G had it has no flash however less memory less battery time and she also lied by saying is she's shut my phone off that it's been stolen I would lose my number unless I bought a phone that day they will not give me anything on trade in on this 3 week old phone I purchased from them so I will be switching carriers and they can kiss my *** buyer beware

i am with cricket wireless i have two phones on my account one works fine the other one is broke right now the broken one i have been using for the voice mail for the last two months i pay my bill on time every month today i tried calling my voice mail and all i got was beeping like it was busy i called cricket wireless Customer service number 1 (80*) 274-**** sat on the phone with them for 30-45 minutes for them to say they cant help in anyway besides to tell me to buy a new phone and see if it fixes the problem thinking about taking my business else where

Cricket Wireless - Phone Service Review from Poway, California

So upset im on my third Cricket Phone in 6 months. The first 2 were HTC Desire 510 models. One screen went out 4 days after purchasing and the other audio would not work unless it was on speakerphone. The next is the Samsung Galaxy Prime which I have had for for days and the SIM card is not being read by phone causing it to have no mobile network service. Because I purchased this phone $200 in Sacramento and paid the monthly bill in advance and I live in San Diego I have to wait 4 days to claim a warranty. Unacceptable to not have a service center for a new refurbished phone. Very unhappy to know I can pay 4-500 dollars for a refurbished phone from cricket who never sells the customer a brand new phone.
